Dragone's House of Dancing Water Opens at City of Dreams
Last weekend, the City of Dreams casino opened Franco Dragone's House of Dancing Water, a dancing and swimming extravaganza. See a great video from UK's Telegraph here.
"Dragone"? "Water"? "Acrobats"? Where have we heard this before?
Will it be successful? I don't know. Consensus is that Cirque's Zaria show at the Venetian Macau has been "disappointing", which may be polite.
Likewise, my observations of Macau's tourists with casino shows consist of largely indifference. However, they can really pack them in on the weekends for the free lounge shows at the Sands and MGM Grand Macau - my favorite is an African-American fellow known as "Philip" who apparently has memorized every 60-70s era Cantonese song, and gives a surreal performance.
