Cotai Status Via Flickr

Found two interesting photos from mjaw's Flickr photostream, taken from a room at the Venetian on April 22, 2008. Both of these photos give a great birds-eye peek into Four Seasons, Galaxy Cotai MegaResort Far East Consortium and Macao Studio City construction. If you click on "all sizes" you can see super duper hi-res details. Fancy.

Four Seasons / Macao Studio City

Photo #1 (huge version). The typhoon the other day did some serious flooding. The pilings at Macao Studio City appear to be done and progress on the first stages of the main hotel tower looks to be moving forward (far left, below the Harrah's golf course.)

If you pan to the right a little, you'll see where the pilings stop right near the border gate building. This is where the smaller SJM Cotai casino property will go.

The Far East Consortium property (between Four Seasons and Macao Studio City) has become a full-fledged staging area for Four Seasons.

venetian macao wavepool

Venetian Macao's wavepool / lazy river pool. The wave pool will extend from the current pool deck (bottom left of the photo) on outwards along the wall of the Venetian Convention center (the building on the right). A water feature will separate the Four Seasons and the Far East Properties (more on them coming soon). An illustration is worth a thousand words.

Galaxy Cotai MegaResort

Photo #2 (huge version) The south part of the Galaxy Cotai MegaResort has sprung up what looks like dwellings for construction workers, which means all systems go.

Speaking of Galaxy, it's been three days since I emailed them seeking information and have yet to get any response.
