The First Accurate Casino Map of Existing and Future Casinos In Macau

Digging out information about Macau is like getting a root canal by a baboon. I know, I've spent about 4 months drawing an accurate map of all of the existing and planned casinos in Macau.

I've looked at about a two hundred maps of Macau and Cotai in an attempt to pinpoint, with some degree of accuracy, exactly where all of Macau's casinos are located. With the Cotai Strip plans still evolving and the difficulty ferreting out information about future projects from some of the corporations that are building them, most of the maps out there are extremely contradictory.

I've spent a few hundred hours zooming in and out of Macau centered Google Earth, all the while comparing addresses, maps embedded in corporate stockholder presentations, cross referenced data culled from hotel websites, travel agents, Wall Street analyst reports, illustrations from newspapers, asked friends of friends who've been to Macau... you name it. I've inspected the guts of ever worm under every rock I could find... as a result of these seemingly endless hours of work, I think i've finally put together an accurate map of Macau and Cotai's current and future casino projects. Whew. I'm sure some of this is going to change after I come back from the trip, but for now, this is what i've got - they aren't hi-res mega-detailed like those on VegasTodayandTomorrow.com, these are for tourists to help them get a general idea what is where. The Melco/PBL "Trinity" project is adjacent to Dr. Carlos D. Assumpcao Park, but I'm still not positive of the exact location.

I'm still not exactly sure where Wynn's Cotai strip project will be. I've seen the Melco/PBL presentation map (the black and white one that is all over the internet) but I read that the Wynn Cotai project is going to be closer to the Macau Dome than Macau University. If anyone knows for sure, leave a comment.
