The last night I was at Wynn Macau I was outside of the hotel taking photos of the water show for a few hours, in search of 'the perfect shot.' Apparently, I looked like I was a public photographer as two sets of tourists asked me to take their photos, which I happily obliged.
It was quite an interesting interaction since they spoke no English, I speak no Chinese. They tried as best they could to ask me how I they could get copies of the photo (I knew I should've bought that portable photo printer they were selling in the Lisboa's computer shop!) The lady in the white and black striped shirt motioned to me that she didn't like her double chin (insert Chinese phone book joke here).
The second set of ladies were quite a bit more talkative and went so far as to drag as many possibly English speaking strangers over to us to translate. After about 10 minutes of unsuccessful communication, I gave the woman on the left my MacauTripping business card hoping that she'd either give me her email address or email me when she returned home so I could send the photos to her. After many fits of hand gestures, speaking Chinese loudly and slowly, she produced a StarWorld pen and baccarat tally sheet and proceeded to write something on the back. She then handed it to me, giggled and walked away... I looked down at the paper and it said:
I Love You
