The Pool at Wynn Macau

Photos and commentary from Wynn Macau's chocolate lagoon

The Pool at Wynn Macau - Cabana Team

Wynn Macau Olympic Cabana Team

Further around the walkway before it spills out onto the pool deck is the cabana team hut. As expected, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They followed me around the pool for a while as I took photos, waiting to give me service wherever I ended up. I finally owned up to them that I wasn't here to soak my tootsies, I was here to take photos. The manager (the guy on the left) gathered his team for a photo. Notice the shy one hiding in the back.

The bamboo sign on the molded cement counter top : tacky. Will someone throw that thing in the trash, please?

The Pool at Wynn Macau - Jacuzzi

The Jacuzzi

Nestled in the corner of the pool plaza is a roaring jacuzzi, large enough for 5-8 people. The jets were relatively quiet, and the steaming water was hot, but not scalding. I didn't notice any guest accessible temperature or jet controls in the vicinity. I'm sure if you inquire at the cabana, they'll make whatever adjustments you need with a smile.

You'll see in the back of the photo a trash bag and maintenance crew cart. Today was gardening day at the pool. Notice how huge the massive gold vase is compared to the cart and the trash can near by. The three vases are about 25' tall.

Nice write up! I feel like I was there!Quick question - are you sure the restaurant is called Ka Da and that it's not a Macau outpost of Okada, the Japanese restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas? I ask because Okada at WLV uses the same 'Circle-O' logo.

Remind me next time to run everything Wynn related through you before I make further bumbling mistakes. Okada. Duh.

cool writeup. wasn't convinced that the pool needed a writeup at first but this one was worth it. i'm also glad you commented at the end what i kept thinking the whole time reading: "where is everyone?" i'm not a huge pool guy either but sometimes it's kinda nice chill-axin with a beverage poolside. especially so with one as unique as the wynn macau's looks
