Wynn Palace : Fountain View King Suite - The MacauTripping Review 2017

Wynn Does Cotai And Does It Wow

Wynn Palace Cotai King Lake View Suite Review 2017 Elevator Arrival

An elevator was already waiting for us, doors open. Interesting ot note, when an elevator arrives, the bottom half of the pendant light above the elevator door turns red.

The elevators contain the first of many of Wynn Palace's mirrored delights. Inspired by the sheen and shine of Jeff Koons' "Tulips" statue purchased specifically for Wynn Palace and Wynn uber-designer Roger Thomas' fascination with the famed "Hall of Mirrors" in the Palace of Versailles, reflection is an omnipresent theme in every corner of Wynn Palace. Some of these expressions are grand - the mirrors that frame Koons "Tulips," the entirety of the Wing Lei Bar, the zany optical illusion that is the massive three story escalator that heads up to Wynn Palaces Sky Gondola station - some so subtle that their genius is can be easily missed. The mirror is nothing short of the perfect representation of us and our selfie-obsessed world and the perfect way for guests to see ourselves as part of our surroundings, via true mirrors, reflective vases, polished hand rails, giant mirrored orbs and massive sculptures.

Wynn Palace Cotai King Lake View Suite Review 2017 Elevator Buttons

Buttons reveal that the VIP casino is on the 2nd floor, these are the gaming suites above the restaurant level that look out over the Performance Lake fountain show. This hallway is open to the public to walk through, but the gaming salons are reserved for the use of specific casino junket operators. The pool deck located above the VIP casino, just steps away from the Wynn Palace Spa, salon and the Villas. The 28th floor features a "Sky Garden" which is reserved for penthouse suites only... unless you happen to get on the elevator with a butler.

The buttons on the elevator don't work until you place your room key card against the key plaque on the elevator button panel.

The doors open on the 25th floor revealing...

...a truly incredible, lush, detailed and gorgeous elevator landing that gives the sensation that our hotel room is located in the clouds.

God I need to visit Macau... Thanks for the Hotel Porn Chuck!

Oh my goodness - I'm going to have to re-read this again just to pick out the little details - Love the cloud light in the bathroom!

Omg, I don't know which is better, Chuck's photos or the unbelievable detail of Wynn Palace. And, I love sconces.

Thank you, Chuck. Amazing review. Can't wait to go back (hopefully next year).

Chuck, this was great. Thanks so much!

I recently stayed in the "spa" version of this room. The main difference is that if you are standing at the door to the right is a walk in closet/dressing room. In the closet there is a hidden wall safe, like in Mike E's parlor suite. The entrance to the massage room is through this additional closet. I also got nicer (suede?) laundry bags, as pictured in Mike E's review, rather than the plastic ones Chuck got. Not sure why. I took three of them with me.
