Wynn Palace : Fountain View King Suite - The MacauTripping Review 2017
Wynn Does Cotai And Does It Wow
The bell man escorted us through the doors and into a mosh pit of guests arriving and departing. Without hesitation, the bell man ushered us out the mass market registration lobby and into the VIP registration lobby 15 yards away. I took these photos of the lobby the next day long after the crowd cleared out.
After the chaos of North Lobby registration, the VIP Registration lobby was serene, calm and instantly relaxing. The design of the room - a domed ceiling with multiple layers of arches, trim and truly outrageous backlit shapes embedded into the ceiling takes the Wynn design experience five steps further into a luxurious future.
A view of the opposite side of the VIP check in lobby, where seated tables check in real VIPs. Breathtaking.
Registration agents were pleasant, efficient and very helpful. After handing over my credit card and passport and doing the paperwork, I was handed a black pouch with the Wynn Palace crest emblazoned on it. Pulling on the gold drawstring revealed its contents, two RFID room keys (no magnetic strip) and a "Welcome" card containing my room number on it. Neat.
The bellhop escorted us through a secret door in the corner of the lobby...
...through a tiny nook...
...and into the elevator vestibule.
