Encore Grand Salon Suite at Wynn Macau - The MacauTripping Review 2016
The Best You Can Book
The elevator opens on the 20th floor, revealing...
The elevator landing continues the breathtaking tour through Wynn interior designer Roger Thomas' imagination at a depth that probably deserves an article unto itself. Just look at this room... an elevator landing FFS. From the veins in the marble floor to the butter fly inlaid carpet and wall paper panels, to the faux frieze credenza, the gold foil designs on the vase, vintage style "house phone", mirrors, stools, lamps. Holy crap.
Here's an alternate view from the back of the landing towards the hotel hallway.
The reverse view from the hallway.
The credenza in the hallway is yet another stunner. Simple shapes and muted colors creating drama in the ways they cast shadows, capture and reflect light. This isn't "gotta put something here" hotel dècor, this is assemblage as high concept sculpture.
Detail of the butterflies in the hotel corridor carpeting.
Looking back at the elevator entrance on the left, you can see the window wall on the right that peers out into the city. The building with the blue stripes is Galaxy Starworld. All of the suites are located on the left side of the hallway.
A few steps down the hallway we arrive at room 2088, with bone sconce (same as Encore Las Vegas) and a doorbell.
Before we head inside, I'd like to take a quick moment to mention that our hotel reviews are rather long and contains approximately 72 high resolution photos of every corner of this outrageously luxurious room. In addition to the photos, there are detailed descriptions, analysis and jokes.
On the last page of this review you will find our often imitated but never duplicated Room Rundown video walkthrough. We've got tons more of room rundown videos on our YouTube channel, subscribe now and never miss another one of our hotel reviews.
