Venetian Macao : The MacauTripping Review 2008
Welcome to Venice... in China.
The Venetian Macao's bed offerings are similar to all of the hotels I've stayed at in Macau. The mattress is firm yet comfortable, linens of fine quality and there are copious amounts of pillows (plus one more in the closet.) The backlighting inside the canopy over the bed can turned off by a switch on the right side behind the lamp.
At the foot of the bed is a small bench, which could either be a place to stack the extra pillows when not in use, or just an extra piece of furniture.
The side tables feature matching blue lamps, cord telephone, a traditional face clock, and a note pad with a golf pencil. I'm not a big fan of the golf pencil... the scratching of pencils on paper makes my skin crawl, plus it makes me feel like I'm five years old and can't be trusted with a pen.
Bed - Reverse View
This is the view of the bed from the top of the stairs. To the right of the painting is a small closet. This view also give a great view of all of the decorative frame moulding on the walls. This stuff is all over the place, possibly to give the room a little theoretical pizazz.
